verse 13

¹³ which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 1 Corinthians 2:13

So, what does Saint Paul mean here?

My basic point is we can say that spiritual is something that is happening from within a human soul. People can’t see into the human soul but God understands the soul because he created it.

It does raise questions… Can the natural man know anything about God?  St Paul answers this in Romans 1 and 2.   This is not our remit though…
