As I mentioned in verse 8 where Paul said about ‘own reward’ This idea is now going to work out in the next verses. Let’s not forget how Paul in the last verse spoke of ‘We and You’. Then of course there is ‘each of you’.   He was singling each member out and showing them that they will get a personal reward from the Lord.  There is no reward in following one of the superstars around.  It won’t help them on the Day of Judgement.
