Religions and Politics

Indifference to or rejection of religion.   Under certain contexts it can mean atheism.  The UK is basically secular, but the church is very much alive, but it is not encouraged to dominate.  In Turkey until recently Since Ataturk the country was secular in its institutions but in its day to day living Muslim.    I need to read more about Erdogan before deciding how he is playing ‘The Islam Card’.  He has a lot of support and he has built many mosques and pushed Islam to the forefront.
This doesn’t have to be a problem as long as individual rights are not ignored. My problem is that when nationalism goes towards its conclusion a nation can get a tyrannical leader like in Germany with Hitler.
