1 Corinthians chapter 6 Part 2

The language is very clear.  Corinthian members ought not take each other to the law courts.  I don’t want to read into the text what I think let us stick to the text to find out what God is saying.

We need to look a little closer to the next five verses.  Paul asks question after question up to verse 5!!! 😊  and then one more in verse 6 which I missed on my first reading.

Does any one of you, when he has a case against his neighbour, dare to go to law before the unrighteous and not before the saints? 1 Corinthians 6:1

2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world?

If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts?

3 Do you not know that we will judge angels?

How much more matters of this life?

4 So if you have law courts dealing with matters of this life, do you appoint them as judges who are of no account in the church? 1 Corinthians 6:2-4

As you can see. In this section Paul fires off six questions.  The Corinthians are in a privileged position if we mirror read.  Let us answer what could be the answers…
