Is the Father immutable?

Is the father immutable does God not change Jesus Christ is the same Hebrews chapter 8 , 8

For finding fault with them, He says,

Behold, days are coming, says the Lord,
[f]When I will effect a new covenant
With the house of Israel and with the house of Judah;  nasb

 Hebrews 1, 8

10 And,

You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the works of Your HANDS… nasb

12 And like a mantle You will roll them up;
Like a garment they will also be changed.
But You are the same,
And Your years will not come to an end.” nasb

Is the father almighty? Christ shares the omnipotence Of God.

John chapter 1, 3,

All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. nasb

Colossians chapter 1, 17,

17 He [y]is before all things, and in Him all things [z]hold together. nasb

Matthew chapter 18, 18,

18 Truly I say to you, whatever you [q]bind on earth [r]shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you [s]loose on earth [t]shall have been loosed in heaven. nasb

John chapter 5, 17 to 19. Page 38

17 But He answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working.”

Jesus’ Equality with God

18 For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.

19 Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever [e]the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. nasb

So, with these examples we can see that the father and the son Share divine attributes. Henry in chapter 3 laid down scripture references as preparation for chapter 4.

This chapter is about the deity of Jesus Christ his Co equal equality with the father and the Son. (Pages 40 to 50).
