Selfcontrol 1 cor 9, 25

Verse 25

²⁵ Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. 1 Corinthians 9:25

Obviously self-control is important for the runner. Not to eat too much Palmer exercise and all they get is a perishable wreath. Believers get an imperishable reef that lasts for all eternity.
