30 For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep. 1 Corinthians 11:30

So the problem with many people is that they want to have fun and they forget about being in the presence of a Holy God.  Remember that earlier Paul told us to learn from Israels mistakes.   They were partying and many of the group tasted death for their mistakes.  Let us respect the table of the Lord and let us not be weak and sick and sleep with our hedonistic customs or the juggernaut of judgement might over take us!
