Verse 2

² For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. 1 Corinthians 2:2

This is the message, not only for the Corinthians but for all genuine Christians who belong to the universal church. (universal) means all believers from past present and future generations.

What I like about the Corinthian Christians was that they were ordinary people like you and me.  In worldly standards nothing to shout about… but here they are giving us lessons in the 21st

century ‘What a believer isn’t supposed to be’.  Believer you only stand because of what God has done for you… By the end of this book we will really understand what grace is.
